Leadin a Finnish firm has announced that it is to create 30 jobs at a new software centre in Swansea where it has links with Swansea University.
The company coming to Swansea designs user-friendly technology products and Swansea is to be it’s new UK headquarters and software development centre.
Leadin looked at a several differentlocations for its new software centre to support its European growth plans before choosing Swansea,
Leadin was founded in May 2009 as an expert in User Experience and Nordic Design practice. Currently, Leadin’s team in Finland consists of more than 30 user experience and software professionals. In five years Leadin has grown from a two-man start-up to a service design agency employing nearly 40 people, delivering user research, service design and software development services.
It anticipates that its new UK centre will outgrow its parent company both in terms of sales and personnel within a few years.
