Industrial Electrician - Why You Should Apply
The Money: £45,500, with shift allowance and a small amount of guaranteed overtime already included in the figure.
The Weekends: No Saturday shifts on this rota. Two Sundays in three are free, and the third starts at 10pm when nights begin.
The Security: Orders are secured to 2028, giving you stable ground in a well-established South Wales manufacturing plant.
The Work: A proper industrial electrical role with fault-finding, planned maintenance, controls, automation, and older plant machinery that still needs a skilled electrician's eye.
Your Remuneration Package
- £45,500 including shift allowance and a small amount of guaranteed overtime. Base salary of £43,893
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- 4% matched pension

- Shifts: Days: 6am to 2pm, Afternoons: 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, Nights: 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday
What You'll Be Doing as the Industrial Electrician
You'll be working on electrical fault-finding, planned maintenance, breakdown support, and improvement projects across a busy manufacturing site in South Wales.
This is a role for an Industrial Electrician who enjoys keeping production equipment running, getting stuck into plant issues, and working with a mix of modern automation and traditional machinery.
As the Industrial Electrician on shift, you'll have input into strengthening the planned maintenance programme and helping improve reliability across the site.
What You'll Need To Apply
- A time-served electrical apprenticeship
- Experience working as an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Fitter, or similar
- Manufacturing, production, or industrial plant experience
- Confident electrical fault-finding skills
