Business Development Manager, Roofing Products (Home-Based, National)
Home-based anywhere in the Midlands, on the road four days a week with a company car.
Grow the business: How often do you get to build a portfolio from scratch with the board behind you? This British roofing products manufacturer, part of an international group, has committed £1.5m of investment to a two-year growth plan, and you'll be its first Business Development Manager.
Leads already warming: A marketing specialist is in place and generating enquiries ahead of your start, so you build a pipeline rather than a cold list.
A product that opens doors: The refurbishment system you'll lead with has almost no direct competition in the UK, so you're rarely up against a rival quote.
Progression: Grow the numbers and the next sales hires could report to you.
Your Remuneration Package: Competitive base salary, commission and a nearly new company car.
What You'll Be Doing: Winning new business across the UK with [roofing contractors, main contractors and building owners]. Four days a week you'll be in front of customers. One day a week is for planning at home, plus a monthly strategy day at the factory, with an overnight stay the night before.
What You'll Need To Apply: Construction, building or manufactured products field sales experience, with roofing knowledge a real advantage. Full UK driving licence.
