Salary & Benefits
- A salary of up to £42,000 (dependent on experience)

What you will be doing as the Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Restoring and overhauling equipment
- Focusing on long-term preventive measures and operational efficiency
- Assisting with breakdowns as needed
- Entering completed work and any follow-up tasks into the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Completing basic machining tasks (lathes, drills, grinding, milling, etc.)
- Carrying out daily inspections and routine checks
- Monitoring site services
- Completing handovers
- Supporting the engineering spares and stores function
- Following health and safety policies and procedures
What you will need to apply for the Mechanical Maintenance Technician position
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a heavy industrial setting
- A time-served apprenticeship
- Strong technical knowledge, especially of gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and rotating equipment
- Good workshop skills (lathes, drills, millers, grinders, etc.)
- Experience using a computerised maintenance management system.
Your working hours
You will work a day's rota of 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2pm on Fridays.
