Your Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Keep production running smoothly by minimising downtime and delivering effective solutions.
- Upgrade and modify equipment to boost performance and reliability.
- Lead and support project installations, working closely with management on new initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, ensuring production stays on track.
- Conduct planned maintenance and document all completed tasks.
- Help refine and improve the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM).
- Champion a safe working environment and promote best practices in health and safety.
- Identify and resolve issues at source, implementing long-term solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to prioritise maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
