Interests include project engineering/management and CAD, with over 2 years Autodesk Inventor experience.

Graduate holding a MSc in lean and agile manufacturing with 2 years of industry experience. Most recently has worked for a process improvement consultancy but now looking for a role within South Wales to reduce the amount of time spent away from home. Modules covered as part of masters’ included quality engineering, logistics and supply chain management, lean and agile manufacturing systems, leadership, innovation and product development and design for manufacture. Previous experience acting as a support function for NPI activities within the automotive sector. Familiar with tools such as 5S, SMED, DMAIC and SPC and is proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.

Engineering undergraduate available for full-time employment while studying their degree in spare time, which is due to finish in January 2019. Currently working as an estimator for a large-scale manufacturing organisation and has a strong technical background having worked as a science/lab technician in the education sector for over 5 years working to COSHH guidelines. Keen to find a permanent position within engineering and has a interest in design, having had experience with CAD as part of studies (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and 3D Studio Max). Other areas of their degree have focused on mechanics, materials, and essential mathematics. Graduate holding a 2:1 in medical science with around 9 months of experience within manufacturing environments. Currently in a role which involves the quality control and testing of components for medical devices. Happy to consider roles within either the medical device field or within a more hands-on laboratory environment. Has experience of calibrating laboratory equipment in current role and also uses mechanical measurement tools such as calipers and various gauges. Used to working to ensure compliance with cGMP and GDP as well as FDA and ISO13485 requirements. Keen to find a new opportunity to further develop their skills and experience.

Masters graduate holding a First Class MChem in chemistry with around 8 months of industrial experience gained since completing studies. Current role is based within an R&D function undertaking hands-on analysis work and interpreting results to contribute towards a variety of ongoing projects. Familiar with working within ISO9001 and ISo13485 accredited environments and has responsibility for calibration and maintenance of specified equipment. Happy to consider future roles within either an R&D setup or within a quality assurance or quality control environment and would make a good addition to any scientific team.

Product design graduate with 1 year’s industry experience within an engineering admin role with a large manufacturing organisation, and keen to pursue a career relevant to their studies within engineering or design. Holds a 2:1 BSc product design degree and experience with CAD (mainly solid edge). Good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, and has designed with materials such as wood, plastics and some metals. For the past year, the candidate has been within an administration role performing tasks such as reviewing and updating BOMs, production and process analysis, and providing general support to engineers.

Covered a diverse range of topics during their studies including advanced engine design, powertrain and sustainability, advanced stress analysis & FEA and advanced computational methods. Their major project at university focused on energy recovery, turbocharging efficiencies analysing thermal losses through turbo, compressor, intercooler, research into increasing exhaust system efficiency. Modules undertaken as part of degree included CAD, design, manufacturing, prototyping, finite element analysis, and simulation.

• Recent graduate holding a BEng in material science and engineering covering metals, ceramics, polymers and composites with a focus on how manufacturing processes affect them, failure analysis and how to reduce the risk of the failure reoccurring.
• Completed a 12-month industrial placement focusing on metallurgy in a laboratory producing safety cases for processes and working with suppliers to develop methods to give viable testing results.
• Also has hands-on experience prior to studies as a CNC machine operator, using turning and milling machines working to close tolerances with both polymers and high-grade alloys producing components for a number of industries.
