Due to significant growth, there is an opportunity for a repair supervisor to join a global company.
The business specialises in designing solutions that provides unparalleled quality of products and services. Supporting customers around the globe, covering six continents and continuously evolving and investing in their delivery model.
As the repair supervisor, you will lead the service and repair department at their manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers and third-party suppliers. Detailed responsibilities include: –
- Repairing all product lines following repair and manufacturing procedures
- Ensuring all products meet the defined quality standards and delivering a quick turnaround repair process
- Coordinating goods-in and dispatch of third party repairs
- Assisting in the reduction of repair costs and lead times
- Facilitating feedback of all faults found to relevant parties in a timely manner
- Promoting an environmentally protective and health & safety conscious work environment
- Actively participating in 5S workplace organisation and Lean activities
- Continually improving quality of manufactured and repaired products
To apply for the repair supervisor position, you will need the following: –
- Experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
- Awareness of lean techniques and working in a 5S workplace organisation
- Experience in fault finding to component level
- HNC or HND electronic qualification advantageous
- Customer focused
