Opportunity for a chemist / scientist with knowledge of chromatography to join a multi-award-winning business, as a product development chemist. Multiple positions are available, at different levels, salary dependant on experience.

As the product development chemist, you will be the critical link between product development and engineering. You will work with customers to understand their needs and to make sure that their needs are addressed when developing new products.
- Testing and evaluating products
- Reporting on chromatography validation and application testing
- Working closely with the engineering and product marketing teams to ensure new products are fit for purpose
- Providing scientific input into new product development
- Developing knowledge of competitor products
- Overseeing product development projects
- Writing product user manuals
To apply for the product development chemist position, you will need: -
- A relevant scientific degree, for example, chemistry, analytical chemistry or forensic science
- Knowledge of chromatography GC or LC (experienced gained as part of a degree course is acceptable)
- Experience with hardware, software, or project management would be an advantage
In return, the product development chemist will receive a salary of £25,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience), 24 days holidays plus bank holidays, cash healthcare plan, pension and sickness pay. Please note there are multiple positions available at different levels within the business, salary will be dependant on experience.
