Sony announces increased manufacturing jobs due to increase in demand.
Leading electronics company Sony has announced that it is increasing employee numbers by making 26 new jobs at it’s Bridgend base.The jobs will be on the production line and in customer services at its UK Technology Centre (UKTEC) in Pencoed.
The move by Sony confirms that positive signs in the Welsh and UK economy are leading to increased demand and as a result an increase in manufacturing vacancies ensuring that skilled candidates are now very much in demand.
Rhys Williams, Managing Director of leading recruitment agency – Sigme Recruitment – states “this latest announcement supports the growing number of job assignments that are curretly being managed by the recruitment agency, with significant vacancies being available in Swansea, Bridgend, Cardiff and Bristol”.
