QA Team Leader / QA Supervisor

Salary: £23000 - £25000 ( Depending on Experience )

QA Team Leader / QA Supervisor

Salary: £23,000 + Ben (includes shift allowance) maybe up to £25K for the right candidate.
6am - 2pm Monday / Friday
2pm - 10pm Monday / Friday

The Role:
Complaints / internal investigations
Liase with customer services to provide investigations
Identify and action GMP, Product improvement and process improvement to reduce complaints per million below 9.5 / million
Increase awareness on factory floor of current complaints and incidents
Ensure Technicians complete investigations within 3 working days
Ensure corrective actions from internal incidents are established

Quality system
Control process documentation, issue, collection, auditing and storage
Conduct and document live trace ability audits on process documentation, action any non compliance.
Maintain a measurement of Incident reports and Non compliance notes
Maintain a record of all Conveyors
Maintain a record of all Glass/ plastic items
Maintain and monitor corrective action resulting from conveyor and Glass/Plastic audit reports

Microbiological analysis results
Maintaining all aspects of Micro in line with BRC requirements
Maintaining shelf life schedule and interrupting results
Maintaining Contact plate / swab schedule
Maintenance and control of water sampling, liasing with Hygiene department for corrective actions.
Receiving , interrupting, reporting and actioning results
Maintaining a measurement of Microbiological product and environmental standards and trend across site
Liasing with external laboratory
Stock control of consumables for analysis and sampling
Ensuring invoices are correct

The Candidate:
Candidates must have gained QC / QA experience within the food industry
Candidates will preferable be qualified to HNC or above in a related food or scientific discipline.

The QA Team Leader / QA Supervisor / Laboratory Manager would suit candidates who are a microbiologist, microbiology team leader, microbiology supervisor, quality team leader, laboratory supervisor etc
