QC Analyst / QA Analyst / QC - QA Lab Technician

Salary: £16,000 - £20,000 Depending on experience

The Role:

To be responsible for the sampling, analytical testing and passing or failing of raw materials, in process samples and finished products..

Responsible for organisation of raw material testing and the efficient and timely analyses/testing of raw materials, also to pass or fail these materials on results obtained.

Responsible for the efficient and timely testing of Bulk, in-process and finished products.

Responsible for analytical testing using gas chromatography, HPLC, UV and FTIR plus wet chemical techniques.

Liaise with other departments on raw material status.

Deputise for lab supervisor if absent.

The Candidate:

Must have a science based degree
Experience in analytical techniques and with analytical instrumentation i.e. GC and HPLC, UV and FTIR, GLP, sampling, and report writing.
Experience with computers and software packages.

QC Analyst / QA Analyst / QC - QA Lab Technician role would suit candidates who are currently a qc analyst, qa analyst, Lab Technician, Laboratory Technician, Analytical Scientist, QA Technician, quality assurance technician, role may also be suitable for a graduate scientist recently degree qualified in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic Science etc
