Process Technician / Operator

Salary: £7.79 per hour + shift allowance depending on shift worked
= c£18,795 - c£21,550

Possible rising to £8.90 per hour NOT GUARANTEED

Shifts are mornings and afternoons, morning afternoons and nights or continental
CANDIDATES MUST BE HAPPY TO WORK ANY OF THESE PATTERNS

Overtime: Overtime is paid at 1.5 times over 40 hours during the week and on Saturdays, with double time on Sundays.
Holidays: 20 per year plus 8 bank holidays. Holidays are included in the continental shift pattern.
Sick Pay: SSP

The Role:

Load raw material into the process.
Use chemicals as part of the refining process.
Process & analysis molten lead with dedicated equipment to meet quality specifications.
Follow Safe Working Methods (SWM) and procedures.
Use mobile plant.
Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met in relation to personal safety and other team member's safety.
Maintain good house-keeping standards.

The Candidate:

Experience gained as a production / process operator ideally gained within a heavy manufacturing environment.
Client will also consider candidates with manual laboring skills i.e. mechanics, brick layers, fabricators, sheet metal workers etc
