NDT Engineer / Radiographer

Salary: £20,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience

The Role:

Radiographic inspection and evaluation of precision components, using state of the art digital
imaging systems

Complying with Health and Safety at Work Act and/or the Company Health and Safety Policy.
Reading and understanding the appropriate Risk Assessments and Work Instructions
Ensuring that all Personal Protective Equipment is worn.
Safe and efficient use of x-ray and associated equipment.
To work as a team member within the x-ray department.
Preparation of parts for radiographic inspection in line with relevant procedures.
Development of Radiographic techniques in line with customer specifications.
Inspection, evaluation and sentencing of digital images in line with customer specifications.
To provide on the job training to Level 1/Trainee operators as appropriate.
To contribute to continuous improvement activities with the department.

The Candidate:

Candidates must be trained and certified to level 2 radiology.
Previous experience in other NDT disciplines in particular FPI would be advantageous but not essential.
