Electrical Technician / Senior Electrical Technician

Candidates could be offered a Senior Electrical Technicians role if they had enough management experience

Salary: £26,200 - for Electrical Technician / £28K for Senior Electrical Technician + Pension 5% + Sick Pay
3 shift pattern - Mon - Fri 6-2, 2-10, 10-6


The Role:

PRODUCTION COVER
Ensure cover of production areas at all times during the period of shift. Provision of engineering and operational support to production.
Rectify effectively and efficiently machine breakdowns in order to maintain agreed production efficiencies.

FAULT FINDING/MAINTENANCE/MONITORING
Use all available resources to correctly fault find and remedy breakdowns
Using all available resources carryout planned maintenance as dictated by the company adopted systems.
Monitor all machinery, offering ideas to enhance performance where ever possible.
Actively reduce breakdowns through maintenance but also offer improvements/ ideas through your own experiences.

CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS AND MONITORING
Provide support functions to achieve strategic planning and support company vision.
Identify and deliver improvements to the overall maintenance strategy.

PLANNED AND CALENDAR MAINTENANCE
Carry out Planned Maintenance schedules to a high standard, ensure that defective parts are identified correctly and replaced. Carry out maintenance within agreed time and budget constraints.
Action issues as raised in Engineering Works Orders to increase machine efficiency to agreed targets.
Carry out all weekly checks ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Ensure that all spares are correctly booked in and out of engineering stores.

The Candidate:


Qualified to ONC/City & Guilds electrical engineering,
Electro-mechanical fault finding skills ideally gained within a production environment.
In addition to this you will have gained experience with PLC, pneumatic & hydraulic fault finding and will be a highly motivated individual.

The Electrical Technician / Senior Electrical Technician / Maintenance Technician role would suit candidate who are currently a Electrical Maintenance Technician. Multi-skilled technician (electrical bias), Maintenance electrician (manufacturing environment), Electrician, Electrical Craftsman, or shift technicians
