Engineering Project Manager / Project Manager

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
6 - 12 Month fixed term contract

The Role / Candidate

South Wales manufacturing site seeks a Project Manager, employed by the company on a fixed-term contract of 6-12 months.

The initial tasks will be:

Review, re-design and implement the reconfiguration of production departments' layouts
Carry out a feasibility study for the relocation of the entire site
Provide engineering assistance and coordination for the roll out of lean manufacturing improvement techniques

The ideal candidate will have:

Recognised qualifications complementing a mechanical engineering background
Good hands-on experience of successful project management, involving projects similar to that required
Good layout/drafting experience
Green-field site experience
Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience to bring to bear on the entire project

The Engineering Project Manager / Project Manager role would suit candidate who are currently a production engineer, production engineering manager, production engineering supervisor, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing engineering manager, manufacturing engineering supervisor, project engineer, project engineering manager, project manager etc
