Work as part of the plant maintenance team:
Working as a member of the Plant Engineering day team, Technicians will be directly responsible for the effective and efficient maintenance of all PC&A equipment within a dedicated area of plant.
To provide PC&A engineering expertise for the delivery of cost effective maintenance enabling the Plant Day Team to deliver maintenance activities in line with Manufacturing and Engineering annual plans.
To carry out specific PC&A inspections / tasks and be able to feed back information on the system.
To fault find on a wide variety of PC&A equipment and able to assess and make effective repairs or changes.
Working knowledge of PLC's, SCADA, Control Loops and Instrumentation.
To ensure all work carried out complies with relevant Health and Safety, Environmental, Statutory, Mandatory and Quality standards.
The Role: Process Control & Automation Technician / Process Control Technician
Carry out risk assessments, audits and comply with the management of change process as required.

The Candidate:

Engineering apprenticeship or ONC / HNC in relevant discipline.
Heavy industry experience is preferred
Process Control and Automation experience is essential
Experience of working within a multi-disciplined environment
