Software Design Engineer / Embedded Systems Engineer x 3
Salary: £31,000 - £40,000 (includes consolidated overtime) + Benefits
The Role:
To design, develop, test and maintain embedded software.
Developing products on a LINUX platform
Involvement throughout the full life cycle of product development (from initial
concept to product release for manufacturing).
Fault finding and rectification as necessary to meet product quality requirements.
Maintaining appropriate documentation of software specifications and designs.
Testing and Supporting Products in the field (Europe) and working closely with
other development teams overseas.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate should possess a Degree within Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Have held 2-3 year post-graduation engineering role with evidence of delivered solutions.
Practical experience of working on LINUX OS
Must possess experience of embedded software development
Fully trained in embedded C (or significant practical experience)
Experience of C++,
To be able to absorb high workloads whilst producing good output of excellent quality.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of the business.
The Software Design Engineer / Embedded Systems Engineer / Software Engineer role would suit candidates who are currently a junior embedded systems engineer, junior software engineer, graduate software engineer etc
