Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Process Technician

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 + Benefits.
Monday - Friday - Days regular
May go to shift in the future, there would be a shift allowance on top for this.

The Role:

Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Process Technician required to:-

Fault find and repair on PLC and Drive systems
Provide mechanical maintenance service
Ensure maximum machine available time through effective planned preventative maintenance.
Ensure through understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.

The Candidate:

HNC qualification would be advantageous, time served electrical apprenticeship is essential.
PLC and Drive systems experience is essential
Knowledge of Siemens PLC's / Drives would be an advantage

Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Process Technician role would suit candidates who are currently a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Multi-skilled technician (mechanical bias), Maintenance technician (manufacturing environment), Fitter, Mechanical Craftsman, shift technicians maintenance engineer, mechanical technician, process technician etc
