Electronics Design Engineer / Hardware Design Engineer

Salary: £17,000 - £28,000

The Role:

Design/Develop electronic circuits and PCB layout of new products from concept to mass production.

Design electronic circuits to meet specification from customers/software section.
Liaise with PCB layout engineers/Mechanical engineers to fix PCB layout to company standards
Liaise with suppliers to introduce PCB assembly to mass production
Evaluate performance of new PCBs and find countermeasures to problems
Plan introduction of new PCBs using Microsoft Project.
Investigate PCB-related performance issues of existing products and implement countermeasures to problems.
Evaluate and introduce new electronic components for existing products.
Prepare documentation supporting introduction of mass production of PCBs for new models.

The Candidate: 
HNC/HND Electrical/Electronics - based qualification. (Desirable)
Experience of office applications Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
Flexible attitude.
Good communication and teamworking skills.
Self-starting with good initiative.
Some use of basic test equipment and soldering equipment.
